St Wilfrid's Church, Doxford
We are family orientated and three Sundays a month there is a Sunday School, which runs during term-time.
Sunday morning Worship at St Wilfrid's takes a variety of formats. Generally speaking 1st and 3rd Sundays are Holy Communion, 2nd Sundays are Praise Services, 4th Sundays are All-age Worship and where there is a 5th Sunday we try to vary our style. All of our services are family orientated and child friendly.
Refreshments are served after our Sunday morning and Thursday morning services, giving an opportunity for fellowship. New people are always made welcome in our church and we offer a warm welcome to our family.
Baptisms are held either during our morning worship, or once a month at St Matthew's Church in Silksworth. Weddings and Funerals take place at St Matthew's Silksworth. For futher inquries please contact our Vicar, Rev Susie Thorp on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0191 522 7639.
St Wilfrid's Church is a young and outward looking Anglican church with a strong mission focus.
We are a 'Church without walls' and meet in a number of locations around the local area. On a Sunday we meet for Worship at 10am at Doxford Community Centre, Mill Hill Road, Sunderland, SR3 2ND. On a Thursday we meet at 9:30am at Haddington Vale, Doxford Park Way.
